PSA Campaign
Situation: California State University, Northridge police is reporting an increase in bicycle lane accidents and trespassing due to students playing the reality mobile game Pokémon GO on campus.
Objective: Come up with a communications campaign targeted towards students to address best practices while playing the popular GPS-centric game on campus.
Approach: I conceptualized a social media PSA campaign that would grab students' attention while addressing the key communication points.
Outcome: The outcome was a social media campaign that went viral within the campus community. The campaign garnered over 200,000 views on all campus social media platforms and over 118,000 on Facebook alone. Campus police reported a decline in bike lane and trespassing incidents to our department within days after the launch of the campaign.
This campaign was conceptualized, story boarded, scripted, and project managed by me. It was filmed and edited by two paid film student assistants under my direct supervision.
Paid Ad Campaign

Outcome: Using a budget of $500 during a span of two weeks, this ad generated 120 website clicks, 35 leads, and two sales. Each sold pergola had a price of approximately $10,000.
